REFLEKSI PEMBELAJARAN 5

 HAI HAI TEMAN TEMAN.Refleksi yang mau aku bahas kali ini adalah pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang dilaksanakan pada hari selasa,4 September 2023.Waktu itu kita mempelajari tentang "Describing places".Jadi kita mempelajari tentang mendeskripsikan suatu tempat.

Di refleksi kali ini mau aku tambahin tugas LKPD 2 untuk materi kali ini .

Practice 1 :

Lawang Sewu. This time I will describe Lawang Sewu. Lawang Sewu is one of the historical places in Semarang. This place is also a sacred place.

Lawang Sewu means a thousand doors, actually the number of doors in Lawang Sewu does not reach a thousand doors, maybe because the place has many doors, this place is called Lawang Sewu.

Lawang Sewu, the 'thousand' door building, was once an icon of a haunted building. The broadcast of the courage test and the appearance of a figure like a female ghost that spread on social networks is enough to create a frightening impression.

But who would have thought, this building, which was built in 1904 and completed in 1907, was actually part of the history of railways in Indonesia.

Opposite the museum building there is a special museum which tells the history of Lawang Sewu and the restoration process carried out by PT KAI since 2011. "Previously this building was damaged here and there," said Arif.

The next spot is the water pump building near the entrance gate. According to records in the building, the water pump sucks water from a well whose depth is said to reach 1,000 meters.

The reason the Dutch dug to that depth was because the groundwater in Semarang was not good at low depths. Because this city is right on the seashore.

The last spot is an empty building that has an underground area. In this area, said Arif, a courage test was once filmed which caused a stir on cyber networks.

But this underground area is closed to the public because the restoration is still ongoing. We can still see the entrance to the basement, through a window in the building. The damp and cold aroma was immediately felt when you were near the entrance. Apart from that, Lawang Sewu has lost its scary 'sting'.
